Six women have filed a complaint with the police against the former head of a modeling agency. They allege that their sexual self-determination was violated through pressure and the abuse of a position of authority.
According to the allegations, the accused used his influence to compel the women into sexual acts they would not have otherwise consented to. The claimed incidents reportedly occurred over several months.
One of the complainants was a minor at the time of the alleged offenses, which adds legal gravity to the case, as sexual acts with minors are strictly punishable by law.
The accused has denied the allegations, maintaining that all encounters were consensual. The prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation and is currently evaluating the evidence and the testimonies of the women.
Pending a possible conviction, the presumption of innocence applies. The further course of action will depend on the outcome of the investigation; any court proceedings would only be considered after the investigation is concluded.
