The interior ministry of Saarland stated in a release that more individuals subject to deportation orders could be removed from the state in the future.
It was emphasized that the measure is not intended to target solely persons classified as threats or those with criminal convictions.
According to the ministry, Afghan nationals could also be affected more strongly by the enforcement of deportation orders.
The authorities stress that the actions are carried out within the framework of existing legal obligations to leave the country.
